We have exciting opportunities available within the Private Client Services team of our Tax Department in our Glasgow and Edinburgh offices from September 2010 to February 2011.
Our Private Client Services team specialises in providing advice to clients on tax and financial issues critical to protecting and maximising their personal wealth. Duties of the role include preparing tax returns, using our software, and maintaining our database of client information. Prior tax knowledge is not essential, as full training is provided.
To be successful in the role, you must have:-
* Recently graduated and be available to work on a full time basis from September 2010 until February 2011
* A strong academic background with a minimum of 300 UCAS tariff points based on 5th year Highers (Mathematics and English Grade B or above)
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Good numerical skills
* A team orientated approach
* A professional manner and strong communication skills are essential, as the role will involve dealing with clients directly
Successful applicants may be required to work occasionally in other Scottish offices (Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen); accommodation and travel expenses to other offices will be provided, if required.
The assessment process for successful applicants will entail a psychometric test of verbal and numerical reasoning and a competency based interview.
