It is now looking to recruit a corporate tax manager or senior manager with strong technical skills. You are likely to be ACA and / or CTA qualified with a forward thinking attitude and will probably have worked in a Big 4 or Top 10 firm previously. The role will involve management of client relationships with some high calibre corporate clients and also a variety of interesting advisory projects. Experience of tax planning for corporate transactions would be very useful as would previous experience of managing the work of more junior colleagues.

Joanna Longman is a VAT specialist and was previously Regional Head of VAT at one of the Big 4 firms before becoming VAT Director of a large local practice in the North West. She has been an active member of various chapters of the VAT Practitioners Group.
