Do you want to work for a European banking organisation with over 40 million customers? This bank is actively searching for a Corporation Tax Manager to report directly to the UK Head of Tax on matters relating to corporation tax compliance in preparing tax returns and making tax payments for the entire UK group based in Central London.

The role encompasses a number of crucial aspects:
-responsibility for corporation tax compliance across all branches and 12 other subsidiaries in preparation and submission of tax returns as well as managing all relevant claims and elections and calculating and arranging tax payments.
-contributing and managing the overall UK tax position through identification of opportunities for tax planning and mitigation of tax risks alongside undertaking tax projects and reviews including transfer pricing studies.
- tax accounting and year end reporting of P&L and balance sheet tax positions of the banking group.

Chartered tax advisor and/or ACA qualification is necessary with previous exposure to technical tax issues especially compliance processes preferably in a large organisation such as a bank or professional firm. A successful individual in this role will have an ability to work on their own initiative and work in a team sharing knowledge of CT issues and tax accounting/reporting which will strengthen the tax department of the business.
