This is a broad in-house tax manager role within a leading FS organisation covering both VAT and corporate tax work. You will be responsible for supporting the Head of Tax and VAT Manager on allВ compliance processes for the UK.

This will include:

VAT Compliance & Project Work
* Preparation and consolidation of UK VAT group quarterly and annual VAT returns including complex partial exemption and capital goods scheme calculations;
* Preparation of VAT returns for UK non-VAT group companies;
* European Sales List preparation & submission;
* Monthly VAT account reconciliations;
* VAT reverse charge determinations on foreign vendor payments;
* Dealing with HMRC enquiries and information requests;
* Assisting European VAT manager with ad-hoc project work
* Carrying out internal VAT process audits across UK businesses

UK Corporate Tax Compliance
* The preparation, review and filing of UK corporation tax returns.В
* Tax projections and payments for the UK group.
* Preparation of monthly tax accruals for certain UK entities.
* Preparation and/or review of year-end Stats tax accruals and disclosures, as well as dealing with queries from external auditors. В
* All other UK tax compliance matters including treaty claims, dealing with UK Revenue queries, and modelling & considering the impact of legislative changes in the UK.

You will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with a broad tax experience covering both VAT and corporate tax.
