New in-house corporate tax job opportunity based in Leeds.
Our client is large multinational organisation with a great reputation for offering excellent career progression in a fast paced and challenging environment. They are now seeking an experienced Assistant Tax Manager to join the Group Tax Team and take control of the tax compliance, principally in the UK but also overseas. There will also be the opportunity to get involved in international tax along with tax planning and project work.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Preparation of UK corporate tax computations for review prior to submission to HMRC.
* Dealing with queries from HMRC in respect of tax computations and accounts.
* Assist with preparation of UK corporate tax payments.
* Assist with PAYE compliance matters including forms P11D and PSAs.
* Provide assistance in preparation of in-house transfer pricing documentation for UK and overseas businesses.
* Assist on tax planning projects where appropriate.
* Involvement in other tax related matters arising in respect of VAT, payroll taxes both in UK and overseas and corporate taxes in general.
Skills/Experience Required:
* ACA/ACCA/CTA Qualification
* Strong UK Corporate Tax knowledge gained within a large firm or an in-house tax role.
* Ability to deal with other tax related issues such as VAT and PAYE.
* Excellent communication with the ability to work with senior level management.
