An exciting opportunity has arisen for an International Tax Manager to join this entrepreneurial technology company based in central London.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the purpose of this role is to provide wide-ranging tax services to the Group. The focus will be on ensuring that all direct and indirect tax compliance matters are dealt with and the group has a robust tax strategy and optimal structure.
Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Advisory
* Work with the Head of Finance, management teams, and professional advisors to identify, assess and facilitate tax improvement opportunities, including the integration of acquisitions and evaluating new M&A opportunities;
* Undertake a thorough review of the Group's legal and tax structure and propose changes to optimise the use of tax losses;
* Deliver a fully considered proposal to manage the effective corporation tax rate, and VAT costs, and plan for the global expansion and IPO. This will include looking at the business model and developing a transfer pricing policy around this.
Compliance
* Primary control of all corporation tax computations for all subsidiaries
* Prepare and submit the R&D tax credit claims
* Ensure that all VAT, US State and Federal Sales Taxes, including Universal Service Fees and GST submissions are filed accurately and timely
* Employer tax reporting, to include P11d's and Form 42
You will be ACA and/or CTA qualified. Experience of US sales tax is important.
The successful candidate will be an ambitious and enthusiastic tax professional prepared to undertake a wide variety of tax work to support a fast growing and unique company with global aspirations that are already starting to be realised. They will play a huge part in shaping the Group's structure and set it on a path towards a successful IPO.
