Working in the Corporate Tax team will give you the opportunity to develop relationships with clients as you help manage the amount of corporation tax they need to pay. This involves working with clients to produce complex tax computations and returns for HM Revenue & Customs, giving advice on corporate planning and restructuring projects and finding ways to reduce their effective rate of tax.
The Role
Excellent opportunity for a Tax Assistant in the Corporate Tax department in Milton Keynes. The team provides total tax service and builds long term relationships with clients. They provide efficient corporation tax services to a wide range of clients. The team advises clients across many industry sectors, with clients ranging from large international plc's to OMBs.
The Milton Keynes tax team are a small, friendly team with each client allocated to a team comprising of assistant, assistant manager and manager or senior manager.
Qualifications/Skills
- Part-qualified ACA/CTA or equivalent
Experience and Background
- Ability to prepare tax computations
- communication skills
- Knowledge of accountancy principle, in particular accounting for tax
- Ability to work as a team member
