Candidates must be able to demonstrate technicalВ expertise but also have the ability (or potential) to manage & lead the firms small personal tax team.В
BriefВ example of responsibilities:
*Overall management of tax compliance & workflow for approx 1500 clients
*AllocationВ of work to the tax team & review of work completed
*Acting as primary point of contact for both internal & external queries
*Supporting the tax team & partners with planning / advisory work relating to: all matters of personal tax or related nature, CGT / IHT implications of the transfer, sale & gift of personal & business assets, estate planning & use of trusts for IHT purposes, tax implications of residence/domicile status & the associated tax planning opportunities
*Handling HMRC enquiries
*Face to face meeting with clients
