As a Director you will:
* Be in charge of the day to day running of the Birmingham and Nottingham Private Clients Practice, managing a small team of advisory professionals;
* Manage the advisory work on a varied portfolio of high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs. This consists of all aspects of personal tax advice including shareholder planning, non domicile/international advice;
* Become involved in tax planning projects and ad-hoc advisory work, which may cover international aspects such as domicile and offshore trust work;
* Help accelerate the development of the local PCS team and their skill set to deliver on complex advisory projects.
To qualify you will have:
* A proven track record of advising high net worth individuals on both UK and international personal tax issues. Expertise in domicile and offshore trust related matters would be advantageous
* Experience of managing and developing a team
* Strong technical skills in relation to UK personal, partnership and trust/estate taxation and report writing skills
* A solid understanding of UK tax legislation, ideally gained through studying for the CTA qualification.В
* Experience of managing, developing and maintaining client relationships
* Evidence of winning new work
* Excellent inter-personal skills, including the ability to prepare proposals and deliver client presentations |
