A rare and interesting specialist opportunity exists within this leading independent accountancy firm for a Probate / Trust Tax Senior. The firm has established a successful niche in this area and the role will involve working closely with the Manager of the Capital Taxes / Personal Tax team. You will be heavily involved in the administration of deceased?s estates after Probate and will include the preparation of annual executors accounts and tax returns, arranging to obtain probate for executors, and the completion of Probate Court and Capital Taxes Office forms. In addition some ad hoc personal tax / trust compliance work will be involved. Previous experience in this field is essential and the successful candidate may possibly have a legal executive background or very specialist trustee / administrative experience where probate work has featured. Hours are very flexible and would suit someone who has either family responsibilities and or other outside interests.

Joanna Longman is a VAT specialist and was previously Regional Head of VAT at one of the Big 4 firms before becoming VAT Director of a large local practice in the North West. She has been an active member of various chapters of the VAT Practitioners Group.
