The role will primarily be involved with the maintenance and development of the Groups quarterly and year-end tax reporting processes under US GAAP, including effective tax rate management, provisioning, forecasting and cash tax processes. It will also include assistance with the group's International Markets corporate tax compliance and reporting:- assisting with the review, oversight and management of group tax compliance and outsourced provider/advisor relationships in all international markets, together with the preparation of UK returns and dealing with associated enquiries.
You will also have responsibility for:
Implementing and monitoring strategic tax projects (e.g. tax business model changes, transfer pricing) developed in conjunction with the International Tax Managers, to ensure these are properly reflected in the groupВ’s accounting records and tax reporting/compliance.
Tax cash forecasting and data management to evaluate the business case for strategic tax projects being developed by the International Tax Managers
Requirements:
- Accountancy qualifications with tax experience
- Experience of managing complex accounting and compliance issues
- A willingness to deal with detailed accounting work alongside business accountants as well as high level issues
- Expertise in excel and operating financial systems essential
- Sufficient PQE, including tax compliance, accounting and tax reporting, preferably gained in a commercial environment. Experience in US GAAP an advantage
