This is an exciting newly created in-house tax role with this highly regarded major corporate group. Joining a well established in-house tax function this role is ideally suited to someone looking to make their first step away from the accountancy profession. The post will include, but not be limited to:
- Work closely with the UK Tax Manager to ensure that the corporation tax requirements are of the UK Group businesses are met.
- Assist in the preparation of UK Corporation tax returns for a number of the UK companies within the group.
- Assist in the monthly reporting process and forecasting cycles.
- Assist in the calculation of quarterly corporation tax payments and other tax payments as required.
- Assist the UK Tax Manger with HMRC correspondence.
- Assist the UK Tax Manager in the financial reporting processes.
- Assist the Group Employment Taxes Manager as required in areas of general PAYE compliance (prior experience not a pre-requisite.
- Provide a business advisory service across the UK Group. To be considered for this opportunity you will need to be a qualified accountant with solid experience to UK corporate tax and tax accounting. You will need exceptional communication skills with the ability to think around problems and build relationships across the Group.
