Our client, an international bank, is looking for a Tax Compliance Manager who will take responsibility for:
- Managing the Corporate & Indirect tax compliance affairs of the Bank; including the annual corporate tax returns, annual financial statements disclosure, monthly/quarterly/annual parent company reporting, VAT returns etc.;
- Working closely with the Head of Tax to provide tax advice/research on ad hoc projects as required
- Assisting the Head of Tax in managing the tax affairs of the Group and managing any tax authority enquiries/investigations;
- Working with the Head of Tax and Finance colleagues in developing, implementing and subsequent maintenance of the Group Transfer Pricing policy;
- Working with other areas of Finance and the group to identify and implement process improvements to streamline the current approach to taxation matters; this would include documenting the process to comply with the new SAO (Senior Accounting Officer) requirements.
Suitable candidates are likely to:
Have good knowledge of the annual tax compliance process
Have working knowledge of Transfer Pricing
Have experience of working with tax authorities
Be Tax (CTA / CIOT) or Accountancy (ACA ACCA) qualified.
You will also need experience of iXBRL and SAO (Senior Accounting Officer) procedures.
