UK FSO Tax is divided into a number of business teams based on industry sector specialist knowledge or technical skill-set.
We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our growing Financial Services Transaction Tax team.
Client Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
- Assist in winning work by proactively leveraging existing client relationships and contribute to winning new clients
- Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical / business driven approach taken
- Delegate effectively and be involved in the development of junior staff in the UK and offshore team.
Experience:
- Relevant transaction tax experience
- Solid corporate tax advisory experience
- Commercial attitude with the desire to consider the wider business implications of tax
- Negotiation skills and an ability to sustain opinion and handle challenges an advantage
- Client driven with a strategic and commercial awareness
- Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and verbal
- Enthusiastic with a flexible attitude to work.
Qualifications:
- ACA / CA /Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course / Law qualification / CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA).
