Our client is looking for a VP, Tax Product Manager to join their growing team to support their global securities business in the EMEA region.
Specifically, the ideal candidate will oversee tax developments in the EMEA region, perform global research relative to EMEA countries / markets in which clients hold portfolio assets.
Key responsibilities will include:
? Maintaining all internal / external materials reflecting current state of EMEA local law, treaty, including entity level taxation of various investment vehicles
? Providing tax technical support for the securities businesses, products and clients
? Drafting of policies, tax product materials, etc
? Assisting the business areas in managing and mitigating tax risk
? Partnering with Corporate Tax, Legal, Product and Sales / New Business teams to develop new tax products and create business proposals for clients and prospects
Experience / Qualifications:
? Global Custody / Clearance / Collateral Management experience required
? Knowledge of stamp tax and manufactured income regulations preferred
? Legal Background - Attorney skill set ideal
? LLM in Taxation preferred
? Quick learner and strong analytical ability
? Excellent written and communication skills
? Project management skills preferred
