This world wide leading US Investment bank is currently looking to add to its Global Tax Services team at a VP level. This is an excellent opportunity for you to be part of a team that is responsible for the oversight of tax services for all business units helping to make sure all clients understand tax technical changes and mitigate risk. As part of the GTS team you will monitor and communicate tax changes and their implications across markets, products and regions. Design and maintain tax components of certain products and related system changes. You will also be expected to oversee tax requirements for Worldwide Securities Services products in the EMEA region.
Your main responsibilities will include - Maintaining all internal/external materials reflecting current state of EMA local law, treaty of various investment vehicles. Provide tax technical support for the WSS business, products and clients. Draft polices and assist the WSS business areas in managing and mitigating tax risk.
You will ideally have Global Custody/Clearance/collateral management experience, Knowledge of Stamp duty, a LLM in Taxation and have vast product knowledge.
