A 12 month fixed term contract for a Transfer Pricing Specialist is required for this FTSE 100 Global Retailer who have their Head Office based in London and locations throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas.

You will work in their Global Tax Function and and be the ``Go to`` person for all Transfer pricing queries. The Scope of the role is to proactively manage and set the Global Transfer Pricing Agenda on a strategic and technical level. In particular, this role is responsible for providing TP support on current transactional issues and audit defence around the world, as well as TP strategic input on live commercial and planning issues. The role will be responsible for maintaining several key business partnerships, acting as the primary TP support for Sales, Marketing and innovation as well as regional tax support. The role is also responsible for actively lobbying the regulatory TP agenda at various external forums, including the OECD and the Asia-Pacific Tax forum.

You will be ACA or CTA qualified or equivalent with significant post qualified experience either in a tax department of a large Blue chip organisation or you could be within one of the Big 4 accountancy practice firms having specialised in International Tax and/or Transfer Pricing. You will need to have an in-depth understanding of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and it would be advantageous if you have experience of having worked within the Asia Pac regions. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills to enable appropriate stakeholder management. You will show considerable commercial awareness and strategic thinking with the ability to effectively manage risk and identify opportunities. Finally a solid understanding of accounting principles and the reporting process would be beneficial for the role.
