A position has arisen for an experienced trust accountant to join the Tax, Trusts and Accounts team in this leading national firm based in the centre of Newcastle. This is a 12 month maternity cover position and candidates looking to work a 3 or 4 day week as well as full time candidates will be considered.
With an interesting and varied client base the team works closely with other parts of the firm to deliver a seamless compliance and advisory service to the client in all aspects of their private client tax and trust affairs.
You will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of trust clients and will undertake all of the administration and accounts work in relation to this portfolio. You will also assist the tax team with ad-hoc taxation issues.
You will have solid trust experience gained within a professional firm and will preferably be part STEP qualified.
