This is a new in-house VATŠ’Ā opportunity with a major corporate group. The role will provide a broad mix of work with plenty of scope for career progression. Responsibilities will include:
- Supervise and control the monthly submissions to all regulatory authorities ensuring that the group complies with reporting deadlines.
- Ensure financial records correctly report the financial liabilities with VAT.
- Represent the group in discussions with external VAT authorities and keep up to date with all changes in VAT legislation and other reporting of cross border transactions.
- Work as part of a talented finance team. To be considered for this role you will need a good appreciation of VAT issues within an accounting/systems context. A working knowledge of SAP and would also be deemed a distinct advantage. Applications are sought from candidates who either possess an accounting qualification or are currently part-qualified with the requisite VAT experience.
