This is an indirect tax role with a difference. Working for this pre-eminent corporate law firm this is a unique opportunity to specialise in VAT in the legal sector. Reporting directly to the National Head of Indirect Tax, this opening will provide fantastic scope for progression for the successful applicant. The focus of the role with major on, but not be limited to, transaction and property based work. The role will 100% advisory and will involve dealing with business' across a wide variety of sectors - both public and private. The work will be technically challenging and will require someone with a tenacious approach and very well honed interpersonal skills. Working as part of a small team you will be provided with plenty of autonomy to manage your own workload and structure your time. This opportunity would be ideally suited to someone who is looking for a fresh challenge within VAT and a less structured environment than the accountancy profession. A legal background/training is not a pre-requisite for this position although the successful applicant will possess a strong academic background and solid exposure to VAT.
