This entrepreneurial national practice is keen to recruit an existing VAT Senior Manager to develop and take ownership over the Indirect Taxes practice. The core part of the role is to build up a VAT service line across the client base in Central London and around the M25.The role will be to develop strong links internally, with the existing client base, as well as over time to market the team's services to the external market. The right individual will also be responsible for the exiting technical work for the client base of large OMBs and recruiting and mentoring less experienced staff. Support will be available for marketing as part of a wider plan to significantly extend the tax practice client base. The right person will have good VAT advisory experience, be capable of bringing new work into the firm, and preferably have a track record of marketing and winning work. The role would very much appeal to someone from a Big 4/Top 20 firms who is keen to take responsibility for developing new business and a new team.
