The role
This key appointment will see you undertake the following responsibilities:
* Primary point of contact for policy interpretation, considering escalated issues and dealing with exception requests.
* Communicating policy changes to employees and regional stakeholders.
* Managing a team of global mobility staff and overseeing a team of on-site vendor staff.
* Developing, coaching and training more junior employees.
* Personal involvement in senior level and/or confidential moves.
* Co-ordinating vendors.
* Communicating internally with stakeholders and senior management.
* Approving monthly payroll feeds.
* Overseeing year end processes.
* Vendor management.
* Reviewing the design of global programs.
* Involvement in ad hoc projects.
* Establishing policies and services for new/growing locations, together with vendor selection.
* Building relationships internally with key stakeholders and other areas of the business.
* Risk management.
About you
To succeed in this high profile position, you will have ideally have solid expatriate tax experience. Expatriate management or relocation experience would also be preferred. Strong people management skills along with a proactive approach to problem solving.
